Open Question: intuition feelings? does he like me or am i just wanting him to like me?
So there is this guy at work who is extremly good looking, i have a bad tendency of judging people to quick before i get to know them and i automatically assumed he was a complete jurk with a big ego since most good looking guys are use to girls crushing on them and what not. So i made small talk with him.. i found he acted rather strange and probably assumed i liked him (which at the time i didnt) so i backed away.. now im noticing him checking me out alot and im not really sure what all it means. I know alot of us have intutions -- well all of us lol, and most people tend to instinctlivly know or sense when another person is attracted to you and for some reason i am sensing that he likes me. You know the way a guy looks at you and you automatically know he likes you.. well that was the look he gave me, then the way he reacted after i looked at him (all shy and nervous) kind of was a give away. Now i doubt anything will happen since you know its work and most convos you have with people are pretty light-- usually work related.. what im wondering though is.. What do you think the chances are of anything to really happen from all this? Im guessing nothing but has anyone ever been in a situation like this?

Open Question: Looking at this scenario, do you think he was cheating on me?
I'm mid thirties, been seeing a guy would say we had started to fall in love. Then, suddenly he changes his tune towards me. I contact him before he goes away and he says I'm hounding him. This esculates into a major argument going on for almost 3 weeks. I told him to bugger off and leave me alone. He comes back, makes love to me we make up sort of, I text him next day to say glad we have sorted things out, he text's back to say no we haven't. then I get mad saying leave me alone, I need space, you are doing my head in. And I (stupidly or not) get back with him. He comes back saying he loves me dearly etc etc wants to make it work. We get back together last weekend (sat night). We go out for dinner Sunday night, he stays over. Everything fine between us. Monday a few texts exchanged, I ring him for a chat, mention I'm cooking tea & say some is spare if you want some. He turns up, laptop in bag. I served him his dinner, he sits on the laptop eating his dinner and going on facebook.Ignoring us. Burps. Watches laptop like a hawk. Tells me he can't see me tonight he's "too tired" but will see me one afternoon this week? (as I work evenings..) I'm like right ok. "Whatever"..I am not a fool believe me ! He then proceeds to ignore us all, takes a call in the garden. Then says he's got to go to pick his sister up who is visiting a family friend in hospital. I have to go at the same time as he departs, as I have an appointment local to the area with regards to work. On the way to the appointment I see his car outside his ex's house with whom he has a baby. He also has 2 other children to someone else. (The ex's always phoning up/texting him) I was shocked and shaken as he'd said blatently that it was his sister who was on phone but my intuition was right it was his ex. I text that night to say hope you had a nice time at her house, didn't know she lived in the hospital, he then got nasty back saying he went to see his son, (fair enough, I don't have a problem with that at all, what I have a problem with is being lied to) & hasn't seen him (liar cos he saw him at the weekend previous!!!) & to pay maintenance...yeh... I'd had enough of the ongoing three week drama, my feeling to him had changed and as soon as I realised he wasn't truthful I lost every little bit of faith I had in him (I spent 9 years with a liar/cheat) So I told him sorry it's over, I can't keep up with you, he text back saying "i'm dumped again by text, great, F.>> off and delete my number" to which I was shocked but expected, so that was it. we are over. I feel like I have been bad texting him but I can't take his crap anymore. Do you think I should be feeling this guilt? I can't apologise as I have deleted his number. He was at the ex's for around 20 minutes, he said he was seeing his son, I drove back up the hill on my return to see his car pull out in front of me then he waved (!) so I turned down the nearest road to get away as I was a little shook up/shocked. And to all the men that insult me, telling me to get a backbone..hello...who the hell are you talking to? I have a backbone and was asking for an opinion not insults. Can I please have mature answers not rude ones or ditch him I'm a guy...what the hell is that supposed to mean? I have ditched him honey. ANd to end this question, he was dumped on Monday of this week with no contact from now on as much as it hurts and I have feelings, I have to MOVE on from him.

Open Question: Creative ideas for a over-the-summer school project?
was asked to read The Alchemist by Paul Coelho and then made to create a physical representation of my favorite relationship, idea or moment from the novel and I can't think of ANYTHING. I really need help. It would be amazing if you had read this book, but I doubt I'll get that lucky, so if I could have some ideas based on any of the following quotes from the book. By a physical representation, it could be a drawing/sculpture/painting or ANYTHING else that isn't like an essay or literary. But keep in mind, I cannot draw or paint to save my LIFE! That's why creative ideas would be best. 1. "When someone sees the same people everyday, as had happened with him at the seminary, they wind up becoming a part of that person's life. And then they want the person to change. If someone isn't what others want them to be, the others become angry. Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own." 2. " 'Whats the world's greatest lie,' the boy asked, completely surprised. (The man replied) 'It is this: that at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what is happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate. That's the world's greatest lie.' " 3. " 'Your Personal Legend is what you have always wanted to accomplish. Everyone, when they are young, knows what their Personal Legend is. At that point in their lives, everything is clear and everything is possible. They are not afraid to dream, and to year, for everything they would like to see happen to them in their lives. But, as time passes, a mysterious force begins to convince them that it will be impossible for them to realize their Personal Legend.' " 4. "The boy was beginning to understand that intuition is really a sudden immersion of the soul into the universal current of life, where the histories of all people are connected, and we are able to know everything because it's all written there." 5. "Everything on earth is being continuously transformed because the earth is alive.... and it has a soul. We are part of that soul, so we rarely recognize that it is working for us." 6. "I'm interested only in the present. If you can concentrate always on the present, you'll be a happy man. You'll see that there is life in the desert, that there are stars in the heavens, and that tribesmen fight because they are part of the human race. Life will be a party for you, a grand festival, because life is the moment we're living right now." 7. "When he looked into her dark eyes, and saw that her lips were poised between a laugh and silence, he learned the most important part of the language that all the world spoke- the language that everyone on earth was capable of understanding in their heart. It was love." last one ;)...... 8. "I have inside me the winds, the deserts, the oceans, the stars and everything created in the universe. We were all made by the same hand, and we have the same soul."

Open Question: In love with someone I don't know?
Here's the story: I went to a new school when I was in 7th grade, and there was this boy named Luke. I was kind of a flirt back then, and I always joked around with all the boys, including him. There was something special about him, and there was a sort of chemistry between us, even thought I liked other guys more and dated. I heard around that if it wasn't for the girlfriend he had at the time, he was interested in dating me. His mom even mistakenly thought we were together, from what I heard. Fast forward: freshman year of high school, I fell head over heels for his oldest brother, who was a senior at the time. He and I talked constantly, and it wasn't up until my senior year of high school that my feelings totally disappeared for him when I started dating someone else (even though we stopped talking after his first year of college). However, it was during this time that my feelings for Luke were suddenly alive again, and I even felt guilty for dating because it felt wrong that it wasn't with him. It doesn't make any sense though; throughout high school we had some classes together, and were both in band, but never really talked. I felt like I always had buried feelings for him, though... we would make eye contact every so often, but dang, we're both so shy sometimes! Freshman year of college, we went to the same school, and my boyfriend and I broke up. We talked periodically and had some classes together, but it was still like it was back in high school, and I was having trouble getting past my feelings for my ex. This past summer, however, I saw him for the first time in a very long time (I transferred schools my sophomore year), and when he caught my eye, he was already looking at me. His older brother was there, but my feelings for him are long gone, and now I feel so much for Luke. It's like when we talk there's something between us, even though we were never really friends nor dated for that matter. Some of the things he says, I feel like he's trying to protect me or something. I once asked my dad if he could pick any guy for me to marry, who it would be, and he said Luke. I guess it might be that we would make a good match. It's been a few months since that time, and I don't even know where he's at for anything, but I have such deep feelings for him. I don't even know him! What's going on with me? Thanks much, sorry it's so long! I had to spill every detail :) P.S. I have a strong intuition about things, and this is one of them. I just sometimes feel like I'm crazy. And also, I've only dated once, and he hasn't ever really had a serious girlfriend.
